Facials have become a a staple in my life and it has become my mission to look for the best facials out there. If you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians in an episode, Kim K got the ‘vampire facial’ where they drew her blood, spinned it around to separated the red blood cells from the plasma. Then they used a micro-needling pen to make sure the plasma penetrated in the skin. It did look a bit painful, but beauty is pain right?
You guys know me and I will do anything for beauty. I think its fun trying new things and keeping up with the latest trends. So my friend Camille and I headed to Novopelle Spa here in Dallas to try this crazy yet interesting facial! I have gotten this facial done twice now, and I can honestly say that it has changed my skin dramatically! My skin is so much more even, so much so that I can leave my house without foundation and be completely fine. So yes, it totally evens your skin out!
Another thing I noticed was the plumpness of my skin, it looked more bouncy and glowy afterwards.
POST FACIAL: Although it has fantastic benefits, I also have to state my post-facial thoughts. The first time I got the facial, (watch here) my skin looked bruised and it was super tight afterwards, even eating would hurt because you can’t make huge facial expression because the skin is so tight. They tell you to moisturize your face every 15 minutes or so, and even though that may seem extreme, TRUST ME you will want to moisturize. The second time around it was still super tight afterwards but I also looked sunburned. As days went by my skin got dry and I had to constantly keep moisturizing it or I would feel dry patches on my skin. Not fun. They do recommend to not wear make-up for these very reasons. Your face will just feel dry and having extra makeup irritates the skin. All of this does go away after 3-4 days and you can see the difference after!
