A few weekends ago you guys know I was able to stay at the AC Hotel, and guys.. it was honestly so fun and blew my expectations out of the water! It was so pretty inside, and also the customer service there was out of this world. Also, I really loved that the AC hotel encourages you to go out and explore Dallas and that is exactly what we did during our stay!

Before we started our day Ciara and I were so ready to check out what the hotel had to offer, but we also needed to relax for a bit because we never get to do that.  So of course, we made our way to the bar because it was the weekend and we had to celebrate with some drinks. We went downstairs to the prettiest bar, and got what the AC hotel calls the best damn margarita in town! They had a great Happy Hour going on, so we stayed a little longer and even got some yummy appetizers because you guys know we STAY hungry.

After that we were ready to take on the Farmers Market. That is one place that I love going to almost every weekend, its just so fun but also full of yummy vendors and when the weather is nice all you want to do is hangout, shop, and enjoy the fresh air. That weekend when we decided to go Taco Libre was going on, so Ciara and I stopped by to see what all the commotion was about. There was actual luchadores fighting, and tons of tacos vendors which was really cool to see!

Another main reason why I go to the Farmers Market is to get dumplings from my friends at MomoShack Dumplings! They have THE BEST dumplings ever.. ugh writing this is making me crave some right now. We were able to get some and save them for dinner which we ate back in the hotel room! If there is one place you need to go when you’re at the Farmers Market, it’s there.

Now I had been wanting to ride these Limebikes for the longest time but I have always been too busy to actually do it, so you guys KNOWWW I had to do it during my staycation. It was super fun riding them in the morning and going to where we were going to have breakfast! I definitely recommend everyone to do this and explore Dallas in this way, just beware because you will get a workout in.. so don’t plan on taking any cute pics. Then when you get tired you can always Lyft back, which is what we did that day. LOL

In the evening we decided to go for a coffee run because even though it was a staycation we still had work to do. One of my fav coffee shops in Dallas is Mudsmiths, its just so chill, their lattes are always good and they are not ridiculously overpriced. Greenville Ave. is a great place to go and chill because you can get coffee at Mudsmiths, pizza at Greenville Co, popsicles at Steel City Pops, macarons at Joys, or ramen at Wabi House. The options are endless and it’s super lowkey which I love.

On our last day we tried the AC hotels breakfast downstairs and I was blown away!! They had sooo many options, from croissant flown in from France, to Spanish aged ham, quiche, and even dishes from the menu were included in the purchase of the buffet which was $15 (not bad at all) We literally stuffed our faces because everything was so good. What other hotel makes you cappuccinos as part of the buffet? Exactly.

Now to end our Staycation with a bang we ended up having dinner at Harlowe MXM in Deep Ellum before I headed off to the Maluma concert. Guys, it was so adorable in there and it was a great place to get drinks and some delicious food items! I got a margarita again, (shocker) it was super good, and then we got the board with tons of veggies and different dips. I was so happy to see some food items that were fresh and not super heavy, so if you are trying to eat clean this item is approved! We also had their lobster roll, and I had never seen so many chunks of lobster like I did at the one at Harlowe MXM, you guys should definitely try it! You must also try the flan! It was so different then any other flan I have had, it was topped off with caramelized pears, but my favorite part is always the caramelized sugar at the bottom! Ah soooo good!

I think you can say our staycation was a success! Now off to a real vacation back in Miami!! Who wants a blog post on that?! Comment below and don’t forget to subscribe! 🙂
